Description
Black cumin (black seed) oil (Nigella Sativa) was already used thousands of years ago. It's called "Gold of the Pharaoh's", mainly because it was found in the Tutankhamun's tomb dated 3300 B.C. In Islam, the Prophet Muhammad said that it is "a remedy for all diseases except death". It is used, among others, in Muslim, Greek, Roman and Ayurvedic Medicine.
The most beneficial components of black seed oil are thymoquinone and nigellon – strong anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant and antihistamine substances; as well as melatin with analgesic properties.
